Project: Re-Designed the SureFit.com Shopping Cart by applying new UX/UI enhancements and functionality by applying the existing upsell logic that is linked to each SKU by variant colors, variant product type, and collections and to generate visibility to the consumer at checkout to increase the likelihood of additional items added to cart for increased Sales. totals and Average Order Value.
Challenge: The existing checkout that was in use in 2022 was simple and functional, but it had outdated features and no upsell opportunities without utilizing code scripts in the <Script/> editor tool. It also was generic and inherited from the 1.0 Shopify Theme that the former e-commerce team had selected in 2018.
Results: Post deployment to Production in Q3 of 2022, we successfully increased the website's AOV ~26% for Q3 & Q4 of 2022 with a direct correlation to the new Shopping Cart experience + Upsell enhancement feature.
